The first of many cat videos

We at the Cassette Deck love cat videos.  When thinking of reasons why the Internet was invented, “to watch cat videos” probably places third.  My all-time, number one favorite cat is Maru.  He is Japanese and he loves enclosed spaces!

Maru first came to Internet prominence via a series of videos involving him and boxes.  I won’t post them here, because I’m going to assume everyone already knows about these videos, as these videos have hundreds of thousands of views on YouTube!  If, however, you want to see these videos, please let me know.  I can locate them. Because I love Maru.

Here is the newest Maru video, in which he explores the inner workings of a drawer.  Not all Maru videos involve him and tight spaces, but the best ones do.  This is vintage Maru.

Where The Wild Things Are track? Karen O? Yes Please.

Who’s excited for Where The Wild Things Are? I am, Karen O’s (i.e. Yeah Yeah Yeah’s singer) new song for the soundtrack just dropped. It’s not too bad. Check it out.
